Fall into Winter

As the aging year dies, the Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas presents new settings of ageless Hebrew texts in its annual “Fall into Winter” concert. Highlights include Imant Raminsh’s “Cantate Domino” with trumpet soloist John Holt, Bach’s “Bist du bei Mir,” and the Corelli Christmas Concerto (Opus 6, No. 8) by string quartet.

The Children’s Chorus unites the diverse forms of uniquely American music in this tour through spirituals, jazz, and the works of American composers Charles Ives and Aaron Copland. Special guest pianist Luke Marantz from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts will tie it all together with jazz interludes.
