Cause for Song - Gala Dinner and Auction

CCGD’s downtown and neighborhood choruses sing songs that explore the question, “What happens when we sing together?” Last season CCGD launched “The Singing Stories Project” to document the profound impact of choral music on individuals. Parents, choristers and friends from around the country shared their thoughts with the Chorus. Actors bring their stories to life through local playwright Vicki Caroline Cheatwood’s lyrical compilation of responses.
A Sense of Wonder
Mesquite Arts Center - 1527 N Galloway
Concert I, Women's Youth Chorus and Youth Chorus present songs that highlight the great sense of wonder and awe that nature's beauty and human relationships bring into our lives. Supported by a grant from the Dede Duson Music Endowment as designated by Jean Rogers Winchell and the Mesquite Arts Council Organizational Funds.

Join CCGD for a festive evening featuring your favorite carols and hymns and 350 of Dallas’ most beautiful young voices. All six downtown children's and youth choruses will sing. Music interludes will showcase the talents of CCGD's esteemed accompanists in two person, four hand piano duets.

CCGD Performs with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Te Deum & St. Matthew Passion

"Friends in Song" unites our partners in music making. Two outstanding school choirs will join our children's choruses: T.G. Terry Elementary (Gwen Farris, director) and Jimmie Tyler Brashear Elementary (Shaunda Butler, director). The Youth Chorus will present Mozart's Missa Brevis in C, K.220 accompanied by a small, instrumental ensemble.
