Join Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas for a breathtaking musical experience featuring the works of Dallas composer Dede Duson. Duson is renowned for her ability to capture nature’s beauty and to evoke a sense of wonder and awe. Interludes will be performed by Dallas Black Dance Theatre: Encore!, a professional dance company consisting of eight aspiring artists from around the nation. This concert is sponsored in part by a gift from the Dede Duson Endowment as created by Jean Rogers Winchell, and is dedicated to CCGD founder, Rosemary Heffley. |

Sing into Spring: Reflections on Love Sunday, February 16, 2020 7:30 pm | Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center All Choruses performing. Love will be in the air during Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas’ February concert. More than 500 voices will unite together to sing about the human heart’s capacity to give and receive love. The collection of pieces—from composers of all time periods—have texts that are drawn from the poetry of love: romantic love, family love, and friendship. Interludes will be performed by cellist Gayane Manasjan-Fullford and friends. |
